Thanks. If they do win, they will be the first girls' team from the school to win. They have a chance to make history! No pressure. Lol

Meal-planning done. Grocery list done. DS is napping. DH has 3.5 hours of work left for the day then it will be on to the weekend.

Question for the light-savvy geeks: We have a 3 way light in the living room. It's never really worked as a 3 way, which is fine. It always just came on at the brightest setting. Now, it only comes on at the dimmest setting. Is the problem likely the bulb? Or is the wiring in the light going bad?

Do you have a 3 way bulb? For those to work correctly, they need a 3 way bulb...

 Yep!

It won't work at all without a 3 way bulb. I tried it once because the first bulb burned out and I only had regular bulbs on hand.

It was working just fine day before yesterday. Starting yesterday, it only turns on at the dimmest setting.

Yeah, you probably need another bulb. The lamp is probably fine....

So, what you're saying is, it probably wasn't a good idea to neatly pack all the bulbs in the back of the closet ... :P

I'll update if replacing the bulb worked when I get around to pulling a bulb out and replacing it. Gotta start dinner soon.

Thanks!

In another news, DS is trying to gas me off the couch. He's so cute when he's sleeping but man does he peel off some stinkies!

I had a 3-way touch lamp my mawmaw gave me back when I was a teenager.

It was so pretty.

But it would come by its self art random times.

Kinda freaked me out a little.

The 3-way lamps we have, dad converted them to regular lamps.

3-way bulbs seems to need replaced a lot.

If it's the bulb, it will be the third bulb in a little over a year.

I like the light itself. Thought the 3 way could be useful but it never really worked so meh.

You shouldn't have to replace it that often.  My three way doesn't give me issues as you described.  Probably the wiring.

I'm pretty sure my lamp was haunted.

Maybe change his diet?
