Praise God, we have never had any gang activity more serious than tagging and some foul language.

Just did some purging. Cleaned out my bedroom closets and drawers. Got two kitchen sized trash bags full. My sock drawer was embarrassing. 57 matched pairs. Not including the fuzzy ones or spares. Also got rid of 3 bathing suits.
I treated myself to a shopping trip this morning. The best birthday present was the pants I bought are 2 sizes smaller than what I was wearing! That made me feel really good so I decided to brave swimsuit shopping, and I found a cute one! Then I went to Sephora and updated my makeup.
I missed an exciting day at work. A few hundred gallons of fuel oil leaked into the maintenance room which is directly below the OR. The fumes were bad so they had to cancel the elective cases and sent everyone home!
Congratulations NAOW on losing two sizes. Stay safe flan, give the sweet little kitten lots of cuddles fwm, and good to see you njn.
Went shopping with my Dil and grandson. He was so good and we were able to eat lunch at red lobster. Bought him a little fedora hat and some summer clothes and some clothes for my granddaughters. Gymborie is my weakness.
Even in the nicest of nice areas murder still happens. Not as much for sure but it can and does.
Murder is one thing, drive buys mean there are gangs in the 'hood.
Yup. And drugs.

Hey, gals:
I hate to burst your bubble, but DRUGS and GANGS are pretty much everywhere...I worked in one of the worst areas of the city for 10 years. We had rocks thrown at the library windows & kept a collection of small knives at the desk that we had confiscated from teen patrons.
