 C'mon...COLD sauerkraut?!!!

And, with my reflux issues, unfortunately, it's not JUST an expression.

G eats 2 heaping spoonfuls every morning.  Right out of the jar from the fridge...

I assume it has some medical value, or does he just like the taste?

A co-worker used to eat gin-soaked raisins for her arthritis.

Now it's my turn to throw up.  I can't stand the smell of gin let alone the taste.  Gag.

It smells like medicine to me, Lexxy. I've never had gin, actually.

Keep the gin on your side of the table.  We can share the tonic smile

It's supposedly good for his gut.  I have to leave the room if the jar is open.  I can't stand the smell of it. It's smells worse cold than it does hot.

That makes sense. Thanks.

DH has terrible leg cramps (from the statin drugs he takes). Over the years, we have tried everything. My least favorite was when someone told him to eat a spoonful of mustard every morning.

Gag!

 And.....

The coke worked. No side effects. Cost a whole $1.50. And it's what the park doctor gave him.

You really want to get into a pissing match over this? Cause I dont.

I related an experience.

Take it or leave it.

I don't care.

Just grow the heck up.

Reminds me of that scene from Doc Hollywood.

I hate when they change things when they make the movie from a book. Things that really aren't central to the story, so there is no need to change them.

For example: I am watching the newest Murder She Baked. It's based on a series of books by Joanne Fluke. I have read all of them, I really like them and was excited for the TV movies. However they have changed a few things. For instance, the main character Hannah's hair color: red in the books, blonde on TV. Her car is red in the books, and blue on TV. She lives in an upstairs condo in the books, a house on TV (this actually is important in one of the books).

I know they are little, unimportant details, but it annoys me.

I know what you mean DG, I mean is it really that hard to keep it authentic?

Trix cereal. Have you noticed there are no more shapes?

Just round balls.

Or maybe I just can't see the shapes any more.

Maybe it really is "just for kids".
