I used to enjoy reading Dear Prudie. But, now they have such a liberal slant to them. Seems every letter is about "homophobes" or those nasty Christian people or whatever. Oh, she will toss in a few letters about what gifts for a baby shower or some such thing but she is an IDIOT of the highest order.
Carolyn is a straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat. I don't always agree with her, but I appreciate the way she speaks.
This Prudie is terrible. She's the one that tells people if your parents don't jump up and down for joy the minute you reveal you are gay, you need to write them off and never speak to them again.

She's never been married, has no children, and tries to write advice about those things. It is OBVIOUS from her responses that she still sees things from a teenager's point of view.

A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Also, while she must get a lot of letter with widely varying topics, either she has an inordinate amount with gay subjects, or she is cherry picking those with gator subjects to put online. Some are interesting, but half her letters are about some gay issue.

Well, I could agree with you--but then we'd both be wrong.
This is how I feel. She has zero life experience. No marriage, no kids, nothing. It's just silly. I would never ask someone like her IRL to give me advice.
