I'm in the same boat.

Still dragging.

I'm going to head up to Conor's house after I drop Jessi off at work, and do some work on their bushes.

With all the running around with the wedding, their yard work kind of got away from them.

I'll try to get them caught up, and looking good again.wink

I'm so excited, first of all my dad TALKED to me yesterday at work. He said my uncle Ricky is in town and he's bringing him into work tomorrow to have lunch and asked me if I want to sit at the table with them.

Um, yeah!! First of all this is my favorite uncle. Secondly he has Huntington's disease and it's fairly advanced, so I'm not sure how many coherent years he has left. It's going to be a good day

Vette, enjoy your time with your uncle!

Where is everyone at today?

FWM, don't work to hard in the heat! You are an awesome mom and MIL, to do their yard work for them. Lucky kids!

Spent three days in Omaha with the littlest DGS. Oh the fun we had:)

This week has been shuffling kids between Bible school, ball games and swimming. I don't know how I did this when raising my own, but with DD working, grandma has to step up! I don't even remember my head hitting the pillow at night anymore.

Hope you all have a great day!

Ha! The BF wanted a bloody Mary. I went and asked the guy which vodka to buy. It was some funky brand in a cool bottle. Win!

LOL  When I think of a bloody Mary, it's beer. Vodka would put me under the table way to soon.

I love wine as well. During the summer a good cold red beer is a special treat though.

We are going to be in the 90's for the rest of the week, so I'm thinking... beer run!! biggrin

Good gosh girl, are you trying to kill yourself? I remember doing Pharmacology in 11 weeks instead of 15, thought I was going to die!

Good to hear from you! Enjoy your visit with your mom!

Well, I am a psych major.  Nobody know crazy like the crazy!  biggrin  I am just hoping to pass the class.  Prof is fun and interesting to say the least.  And I am older than the rest of the students by almost 20 years.  There was one who was only 32 (to my 44) but she dropped the class.

I'm not surprised people dropped the class. It happened in my class as well. 27 started, 11 finished and I was the oldest at 45 back then. When the college condenses a hard class into a few short weeks, the weak drop out. So, hang in there!

We have Baskin Robins & DQ but I really like McD's sundaes.  They are only $1.25 & just the right size to feed the craving but not over the top huge like a blizzard.

The little bitty Wendy's Jr frosty is more than enough for me.

We stopped by the creamery on our drive to buy fireworks in PA the other day. I used to be able to share the boys' ice cream with them, but now they want no part of that.

I use to date a guy who would dip his french fries in his frosty.

It wasn't bad.

Sweet & salty.  It's a taste combination I like.  I'm not really a fan of Wendy's fries.  They new ones are better than they used to be.

Of course, I have yet to find a fry I don't like.

I'm sort of picky about fries. I only like the thin kind fried crispy with lots of salt. Pepper is good too. When I used make them at home I added garlic salt.
