Words don't generally elicit feelings of anger or hate in me.

However, I do not like hearing cuss words.

I can't explain it. They make my skin crawl.

Now I understand the occasional ugly word comes out.

But those who cuss as often as they breathe, well, I just don't understand why. And I will generally avoid people who cuss a lot.

I couldn't roller skate, until I tried.

I couldn't bake a cake, until I tried.

I couldn't swim, until I tried.

I couldn't drive, until I tried.

Never having an opportunity is not the same as not trying.

I don't know how to ski, I've never had the opportunity. I doubt I'd be able to now, due to physical limitations.

But, if I had the opportunity when I was able bodied, I would have tried.

Not the same thing. Not even close. You do not have to be coordinated to bake a cake, read a book, or drive.

I am not about to waste money on a lesson for something I know that I am not capable of. Skiing is expensive: lift tickets, clothes, skis. Nope.
