Two VERY low flying helicopters just woke me up - guess there must be another bad accident somewhere close. Prayers sent up for them, whoever they are.
#2 is home sick today. He had a rash on his back for several days and I assumed it was a grass allergy or something. His nose got really runny and congested over the weekend, and today the scary cough made its debut. So......we paid a visit to the doc and got antibiotics and other medicines because everything I had was expired. It's been awhile since anyone has been sick!
Mawmaw is being transferred today around 12:15 for the procedures.
It's going to be a long day for everyone.

The girls and I are just hanging out at home today. I feel like we've been running and hanging out with people and going on play dates, so a day at home is in order.

Thanks. He seems better. Still can't overdo it or he'll have a coughing fit. The doctor thought between the rash and the sound of his cough, maybe walking pneumonia so she gave the antibiotics. He had this weird little round-shaped rash on the back of his arm so she prescribed some topical steroid cream for that, since the one I had expired two years ago. I almost thought it looked like the ringworm my brother used to get but he hasn't been around any cats so I'm not sure.
Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin. It is spread through skin to skin contact. You can also get it from showers, pools, or other infected surfaces. Cats are only one small way to get ringworm.

Boy flan did you nail it. I had a complete and utter meltdown today because my dad tried to botch up mine and my sister's plans together. I mean, I really went off the deep end at him. I, 'almost', feel bad, but not quite.
Anyway, things between my sister and I are patched over and I'm calm again :p
