And each home owner was given the authority to shoot on sight anyone caught looting or in any other way taking advantage.

There was zero cases of looting or violence.

In December, the speaker at our staff meeting was former LEO, who now works as a security consultant. We did a "What if..." scenario, involving an active shooter outside the room we were in.

One of the points he made was that, even though HE practiced on a shooting range regularly & had an accuracy rating of 97%, in dealing with an active shooter, ANYONE'S accuracy would plummet.

So, yes, arm citizens, but DON'T expect miracles. And DON'T force teachers to carry at school.

They absolutely do...The Colorado shooter drove past 2 theaters that are not gun free zones. He specifically targeted the gun free one...
