The most recent worst mass shooting took place in Paris, over 100 killed in not only a country where guns are illegal, but a whole Continent.

And you have been given two now...

Still waiting on you to answer WHERE has this happened in a gun allowed zone.

These people are sitting ducks. And you want to keep them that way...

I'm trying to imagine if everyone in the Orlando nightclub was armed, and drinking alcohol...
Do you really think that would have been a good thing?

How many people, sober, let alone drinking can respond correctly in a situation like that?
When the police arrived, how would they know which person with a gun and shooting, is the BAD shooter?

And another thing...how did the shooter get that big gun into the club? The bouncer / doormen what were they doing?

I heard the shooter was standing in the doorway. My hypothesis would be that the bouncer/doorman was the first victim

If the bouncer/doorman had been carrying. It would have ended there.

One good guy with a gun was all that was needed. The death toll wouldn't have been so high. If you enjoy being a sitting duck then more power to you.

I haven't been to this club but I have been to a lot.

Most have more than one person working the door and there is usually a barrier between the door and the club area.

So if the shooter killed one doorman, the other, if armed, could have stopped him.

This is what the shooter used.

Don't think he had it in his pocket.

Uh huh.  The reality is that one good with a gun put an end to the killing. So, you can poo poo guns all you want.  The ONLY thing that stopped this killer was a gun.

Really? So, no bystanders with guns ever stopped anyone? Just because someone is at a club doens't mean they are drunk. And, a trained security guard with a gun should always be on guard and vigilant. So, yeah, someone woudnt' waltz in with an Uzi unless you have poorly trained guards.

In fact what has stopped the bad guys with guns? Or do we just want to wait until the killer decides to kill himself when he has had enough carnage? Because, yeah, that happens too the good guys with guns can't get there quick enough.

Or if they knew the guard was armed.  I think having armed guards can be a good deterrent.  Again, I ask, how many mass shooters show up in biker bars?

Guess we will never know, will we?

Because no one but the bad guy had a gun.

Guess he couldn't understand the picture of the gun with a red circle around it and red slash through it.

All 50 of the dead were totally safe in that gun free zone.

Well.

Right up until an ISIS influenced gun man opened fire.

Maybe a few more of those pictures would have made the difference?

Right, so imagine you're in a nightclub and you hear gun shots.
200 "good guys" whip out their guns and start shooting each other, because they don't know who the bad guy is.
How many people get killed in the crossfire? How do the cops differentiate and identify who the good guy with a gun is and who is the bad guy with a gun?

Its a bit problematic this "good guy with a gun" scenario you like to dream up.

No, I don't.  And, if you want to paint your usual false narrative of me and lie, then go right ahead.  You in fact know that i dont' support teachers being armed.  But, I do support armed, trained security.  But, i know that doesnt' play into the lies you want to perpetrate about some conservatives, namely me.  So, carry on.  The reality of life is that we need more trained, armed security period.  In schools, at gathering places, events and so forth.  You dont' seem to have a problem with Obama protecting his sorry arse with guns but you dont' want anyone else to have that protections.  So, now, i guess you are even against armed security?  Go figure.

I've been to bars and clubs where everyone is packing.

Never had a problem.

Your argument is that guns are bad, period.

No one should have them anywhere except maybe hunting or target shooting.

Truth is, gun free zones are the most deadly for law abiding citizens.

So in this bar where everyone is packing, what happens when they hear shots? They whip out their guns and now suddenly everyone wants to be the good guy with the gun but they don't know who the bad guy is.  Pity the first one to take a shot!.... Not to mention the issue of how the authorities could possibly identify who the bad guy is.

If you don't see a problem or issue there, I give up.

Trained Professionals with guns is a lot different than a bar full of locals with no training whatsoever. Talk about SPIN SPIN SPIN

Ask ANY LEO about their accuracy rate on a firing range as compared to their accuracy rate in an active shooter situation.

This is NOT the movies...

In TN, you can carry guns in clubs and bars. You know how many have had a shooting? Not one. All mass shootings are soft spots. That disproves that carrying in clubs is more dangerous than not.

Thats what I'm getting at. People seem to think John Wayne is going to ride in on his horse with his six shooter and take out all the bad guys then ride off into the sunset, hero that he is.

The reality is that most gun owners are not trained to handle a situation like this and would most likely make it worse. IMO

Every single time I post this, it is IGNORED because it doesn't suit the skewed view of "good guys with guns."

It's actually NOT just your opinion. I have heard it from a security consultant who was hired to speak at my workplace.

It MIGHT help. It also MIGHT result in the deaths of MORE innocent people.

And yet not one shooting in the past 8 years.  Hmmm...

And not one in a TN bar. Your theory is bogus...

You live in far more fear than I do. You have shootings in your neighborhood.  I dont.

Yet, when your Canadian "friend" came to visit, she was appalled to see how you lived.

Ask ANY LEO about their accuracy rate on a firing range as compared to their accuracy rate in an active shooter situation.

This is NOT the movies...

Again, my uncle, aunt 2 cousins and a whole lot of friends who are actually police officers have told me the same thing.

Aim center mass. Largest target, it'll stop most people.

Right so why do the police and military bother to train at all? Its so easy to shoot someone....confuse Especially in panic mode.

Yep! Thats whats taught in HCP class. Oh, and those are taught by LEOs here....

I've been to bars and clubs where everyone is packing.

Never had a problem.

Your argument is that guns are bad, period.

No one should have them anywhere except maybe hunting or target shooting.

Truth is, gun free zones are the most deadly for law abiding citizens.

 Quote please?

Oh, that's right. You can't.

Comprehension is not your strong suit. I understand this.

Go have an ice cream or something, sweetie.

 Quote please?

Hint: THAT was a question. When are you going to answer?

flan

 Ok. Try to keep up.

When a poster posts more threads and posts against guns, and in every scenario the gun is the problem instead of the shooter, it becomes clear that poster is of the mind that guns are bad.

I could copy and paste each thread and post but all you have to do is go back and read every one of Apples posts.

Now, I want to know if you understand the difference between a Right verses a Privilege yet?

Do you politely ask the shooter to hold still? Pretty please?

How many mass shootings have these "relatives" been involved in?

flan

 Oh Flan.

You really have no clue.

Soft targets. They know this...

Take your arsenal with you while you shower, for all I care.

Your entire county is obsessed with stockpiling firearms.

LOL! She wasn't appalled.  She was scared. Which was stupid. We took her to the range. She had fun...
