I saw a tv show that had a woman on it who was zip lining, she fell into some running water, a creek.

She had a cut on her leg and apparently that flesh eating virus got into it. She lost her legs, and her arms! All amputated. Such a sad story...

Wild animals that attack people are always put down. Heck, wild animals that attack farm animals and domestic animals are put down. Some wild animals are put down just for BEING in a place that has people.

That was part of an investigation to locate the remains. I'm not upset, I just don't see the need to put it down for doing what comes naturally. Relocate it, if they must.

Then again, I've been known to kill snakes on my property, because I don't want them slithering into my house.

No. Once an animal has attacked a human - I have no issue whatsoever with killing it. Hopefully, they make use of the hide so it isn't a total waste.
