Apparently it was a vote of "no confidence" for Cameron as well.

Boys spent the night at Grandma's. I'll pick them up this afternoon. Working from home today. I can't believe they are in 3rd grade now. I'm feeling a little melancholy, though I'm not sure why.

It's normal. They are growing up, becoming more independent.

I remember going through something similar recently.

Thinking my kids just don't need me anymore.

Which is a good thing.

Worked 5 hours yesterday and then loaded the car up with my stuff and the dog and drove 10 hours to meet DH, DD and the team at regionals. Let's hope they do well. I want to go to nationals!!!! Of course being done would be nice too. Lol

back from the farm and now off to the post office! Next, yard work, need to trim the bushes when I get back. I have a bunch more bushes to trim up and some weeding. Not mowing today though. Lawns still looking crappy.

My bff's cat that was Desmond's brother loved water. She's stopper the sink & put some water in & he'd splash around.

My mom was telling me recently that there is a breed of cat that are large like Maine Coons but they love to swim. I forget the name. She met a guy at the vet who had his in for shots.

I got corgi a little pool last year. We had one when he was a puppy and he loved it. Well, he had no interest. Stinker. I put him in the pool. I splashed him. I even got in with him. He wanted nothing to do with it. So I put him in it one last time and told him he at least needed to stand there so mommy could take his picture. It hasn't been used since.

I went to the Post Office to mail off two packages that I;ve wanting to for weeks but could not get to the PO while opened. I picked up two Priority Mail boxes and took them back to my car where I had the items I wanted to mail. The boxes were a bit big for the items and I didn't have enough packing materials so I scrounged around my car and came up with a paper shopping bag from Banana Republic and some other stuff. So basically, someone is receiving a box with a few trinkets and trash. blankstare

We hadn't made definite plans, just said we would hang out and go to dinner tonight. She's been having a rough time at work lately and working a lot of hours and traveling a lot. Plus, her mom has cancer, she's been helping her parents. So I'm trying not to be a selfish twit, but I miss my friend.
