The shooter was trying to kill people. The hero was trying to prevent him. I don't want to live in a world where the hero doesn't shoot be cause he MIGHT hurt someone while the shooter is trying to do exactly that.

My state just passed a law...YESTERDAY...that if I can am carry permit holder and I am in a business that does not allow guns...and I am shot, then I can sue the business. For a lot. By taking my right to defend myself away, they take responsibility for me.

Charge those that abort with murder. That would stop A LOT of abortions. There are no unwanted babies. Our waiting list is years long. We cannot keep up with the demand. Legislating the maximum cost and reevaluating the absolute asinine requirements would make a huge difference.

Sure and in a perfect world, that would be the case. The truth is that for all recorded history women have found ways to terminate unwanted pregnancies. You can't just wish that away and you can't physically force a woman to continue on with a pregnancy that she doesn't want.

I dont think you understand what assisted suicide means.
In those states, a Dr can prescribe a lethal ****tail, but they cannot administer. The suicidee has to do it themselves. Only 3 cities allow a dr to end a life...

I have yet to see a strategy on how exactly women will be forced to continue on with an unwanted pregnancy, should they be placed in internment camps? Who will pay for that?
What about all the millions of unwanted babies? Who will be taking them into their loving homes? I could go on but I think the point is, you simply cannot force a woman to continue on with an unwanted pregnancy, never have been.
The good news is that abortion is on the decline, so how about we focus on that... something good.
Charge those that abort with murder. That would stop A LOT of abortions. There are no unwanted babies. Our waiting list is years long. We cannot keep up with the demand. Legislating the maximum cost and reevaluating the absolute asinine requirements would make a huge difference.

Except for that teeny detail...abortion is legal.

Sure and in a perfect world, that would be the case. The truth is that for all recorded history women have found ways to terminate unwanted pregnancies. You can't just wish that away and you can't physically force a woman to continue on with a pregnancy that she doesn't want.
But like I said, abortion is on the decline so that is good news.
