The United States is a federal republic in which the President of the United States, United States Congress, and United States federal courts share powers reserved to the national government.
There are major differences between the political system of the United States and that of most other developed democracies.
Many of us don't support her, but we despise Trump.
Talk about a LOSE/LOSE situation.

And choosing HER, a proven liar and someone who failed at her government job she already had, is the absolutely more stupid choice.
Ahhhh, the beauty of living in a democratic republic.

But we don't. We live in a Democracy.
No, we don't. We live in a democratic republic. A democracy would not have the electoral college - we'd have straight elections. A democracy would mean no protections for minorities. A democracy would be pure majority vote wins - and we know that is not the case.

This isn't over. She lied to Congress. That's perjury.
The Republican chairman of a powerful congressional committee threatened on Thursday to ask the FBI for a new criminal investigation over Hillary Clinton's classified email scandal, focusing on the possibility that she perjured herself in sworn testimony to Congress. Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, asked FBI Director James Comey whether he had cause to charge her for lying in a statement she made to Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan during a 2015 hearing.
'There was nothing marked classified on my emails, either sent or received,' Clinton said at the time.

Many of us that support Donald Trump only do so out of lack of better options, and with the knowledge that he's a much better option than Hillary Clinton.
It's not that we like Mr. Trump, it's that we don't trust Mrs. Clinton. We know that Mr. Trump has lied, but what he hasn't done (at least that we know of) is broken the law or lied under oath. Both of which Mrs. Clinton has done, publicly, on TV, with it being recorded. Mr. Trump may be a scumbag, but he works within the law. Can the same be said for Mrs. Clinton? No.
