They are at their most vulnerable when giving birth.
Thats why they get into small spaces.

Ginger is acting strange. She is glued to my side, instead of in the box with her kittens. They are warm and not crying. Ginger comes to the door and cries whenever I leave the sunroom.

Should I be concerned?
She sounds a tad bit overwhelmed by motherhood. Weren't we all?

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
I say stay with her awhile & let her get comfortable with the kittens by checking in on them. She is probably scared & overwhelmed. This might be her first litter & she is finding her way.
If she is going in the box and doing mommy things for the kittens, they are fine.
What does Bunny think about the new little kitties?

Be careful with Bunny & the kittens. I don't remember how old he is but still a little guy right? My BFF's 5 yo got a little too excited with my kittens & he was unintentionally squishing one by holding too tightly.

Oh dear. Bunny is six. We have explained that the kittens can't be touched until they are older. He does really well with the other cats, jim sleeps on his bed every night. I'm sure he will be good with the kittens too.

Doh, I forgot you had other kitties & he grew up with them. Z didn't have any pets so I'm sure that was a big part of it. He just got excited & held on too tight.

We are planning to keep Ginger. We have a bit of a problem with the kittens. We were expecting more than two and have about 5 people lined up to take a kitten. They may have to draw straws or something. Lol
