So, as a white person, I experience racism on a daily basis?

 Ummm...that would be "NO, NEVER."

I can't even deal with this nonsense.

"It's about the same..."

You do understand that just because you type letters that appear on a screen, it doesn't make it TRUE? You can say that your butt is comprised of semi-precious stones...

I think anyone who thinks they live in a white bubble may be the racist. I don't live in one. I don't get the uprising and I don't get it because I work and live with people of all backgrounds, and we have not issue. So what is common denominator? I know what it is, but the deniers refuse the facts.

I am confused as to why people are implying that terrorists and racism are similar. Ignoring racism won't make it go away. Do you see the difference?

The media hasn't helped anything either. They report incidents without vetting the truth nor waiting on the investigation for the correct information.

There is a differene between ignoring and imagining. Imagining that "Black Friday" is a racist euphemism just demonstrates the ongoing idiocy. And, crying wolf over literally everything and painting everyone and everything as "racist" certainly does nothing to stop actual, real racism.

How exactly do black people segregate themselves?

Other than the obvious, we have a China town here, a little Italy and so on. People like to live among "their own", you see predominantly white neighborhoods as well.

There are cinemas, stores and celebrations that cater to each ethnicity. So how is it that you say attribute segregation to blacks?

I remember back, several years ago, a friend and I were having lunch.

She and I were talking about our kids and I was telling her about something one had done.

She said something about me being proud of them and I said "yeah, but then again, I'm a bit prejudice".

Well that caught the ear of a 20 something black girl.

She had no clue what we were talking about.

But she felt the need to "put me in my place".

Ranting and raving like a lunatic over a word.

She looked like a complete idiot.

After her 5 minute rant I showed her the picture of my kids and told I was talking about my kids.

She went off again.

Another 5 minute rant.

The manager had come out and was trying to calm her down.

My friend and I just sat there and stared.

Finally, an older black woman spoke up and told the young girl to shut up.

She had heard everything, even before the young girl started.

It truly was crazy.

There is a huge St. Pat parade in Savanna Georgia.

But it's become more about drag queens than St. Patrick's day.

I've told this story before...

DD, her husband, her MIL, her MIL's mother, me, and Sweetness were out to eat one time.

MILs mother does not speak English. MIL was talking to her mother about what she wanted to eat, in her native tongue.

A guy in the booth behind us turned around, scowled at us and told us that she needed to learn "American".

MIL looked right at him and said, she's speaking "American". She's SPEAKING APACHE.

He thought they were Mexicans. Shut him up real quick.

When I was growing up, the Cuyahoga River running through Cleveland into Lake Erie would turn green.

And blue and purple and brown. Once it was red (it was on fire!).
