One more day till Friday.

I'm hoping for a good storm to roll through and take the humidity with it.

Does that happen there?

Cause it just makes it worse here.

If it actually rains, it will get rid of the humidity. But, it needs to really, truly rain. Not the typical AZ rain aka enough drops to get your windshield dirty. That rain makes the humidity just sit and fester. Last night, we had a dust storm but it didn't truly rain so the humidity was horrid today. I get humidity migraines and am sensitive to humidity.

Going to get poisoned (again) in a few hours.

I kept coughing, which kept me from sleeping ...

so I took my "always works" drug, Sudafed.

Now I'm not coughing ...

but I'm also not sleeping.

We actually had real rain (as opposed to mist, etc) all day long and much cooler temperatures. Looking forward to a good sleep tonight...

Two nights in a row here of low temps.  So nice for sleeping, still gets up into the 80's though during the day.

Morning!

Yep.

That's what it is.

IKWTDS, if a person is THAT petty, then they need to stay away.

It's rained every day, just about it, here. But it's typical for us.

The steamy south is very much real.

Let's see, woke up late. Then the dog wouldn't pee, just stood in the yard and looked at me. So I was almost late for work. But, on the positive side, a coworker left me a container of cherry tomatoes from his garden on my desk. He knows I love them and keeps me eating all summer. He wrote 💜 U on the lid awww. AND, I'm wearing brand new pants today, that are a size smaller!

We will see which trend the rest of the day follows......

Oh, no.  Thought you were getting better!

It's breaking up, meaning I can start to cough stuff up, but now I've lost my voice.  I'm just wiped out both from vacation, the hamster drama, the in-law drama, running the boys all over town to camp, the traffic nightmare due to the metro work, etc.  I think it all caught up to me.

Morning all. I needed to stop for gas this morning. I usually do it on my way home but forgot yesterday. So it sort of threw my morning off & I forgot my lunch. I have my emergency backup soup in the cabinet but when it's 90+ degrees out soup just doesn't sound appetizing but neither does going out in the heat.

It's 90+ outside, but so cold in the office. I actually have been craving soup lately because I'm so cold inside.

Good morning!!!!

FNW, hope you feel better soon.

LL, what did you do now? Rest that ankle! Glad you enjoyed your vacation!

Ed, hope today goes well for you.

Chef, I can not imagine dust storms, ugh.

Lexxy, soup isn't so bad...bwahaha, maybe. ;)

FWM, hope the heat doesn't get to you while finishing the move for your son.

DG, a size smaller pants, YAY!

IKWTDS, enjoy the cool weather, the heat is coming your way.

Lindley, how are those grand's?

Trudy, we need a beer tonight.

LGS, sounds like you have a busy day planned.

Karl, glad you got a good nights sleep due to beautiful weather.

Lily, we are steaming here too.

Heat index of 110 degrees today here. Yup, we are steaming. The garden loves this weather though. We have cucumbers, beans, zucchini, green peppers and crockneck squash coming out of our ears. The neighbors need to be in fear of drive by veggie tossing.. ;)

it's been a long week this week....not sure why. we are heading to the Black Hills this weekend to ride and camp. Just my husband dogs and I, ahhh. We go camping every weekend from May to October, and so far have enjoyed all our kids off and on going with or all going with .

Next Tuesday we head to Cheyenne Frontier Days for a week. that is always fun.

We are breaking heat records here, it's in the lower 100's EVERY.DAY

we are getting late afternoon thunderstorms and some bring hail, but it really doesn't seem to cool things off.

Our town has the High School National Finals (for rodeo) in town this week, so tons and tons of people all over....it's nice and yet makes the driving hectic!

grandbaby is growing like a weed, filling out, and smiling and talking, well his own language LOL. we are enjoying him so much

Oh, I do. That's why I don't pitch a fit about the temperature. I put my sweater on when I walk in. And I have a blanket in a drawer. I know it's much easier for me to add layers than for them to cool off

LL, ibuprofen, ice and an ace bandage. You need them.

Fresh veggies from the garden are always the best.

I want to roast some cherry tomatoes.

So DD's trunk is done. Boy it took a long time because we couldn't do any staining or finishing when it was humid. I put the last coat of poly on Tuesday night. It is smooth as a baby's butt. DD and I carried it out of the garage and into the house then upstairs to her room. She is putting the hardware on now. Looks good! I'm not so much into the distressed look but she likes it.

Dust storms are nothing to worry about. Haboobs can be scary and cause damage.

110 is a normal day here but, thankfully, we usually don't have humidity.

I wish we were closer. I could help you with all those veggies biggrin
