 He says the law would place a "disproportionate burden" on blacks in the fall election, the first election that would be affected.

 A lot of places won't use the computer touch screens because their voters don't trust them. Voters want to see on paper who they cast their vote for. When my county used the computer voting system there were scores of complaints about it appearing a wrong vote was cast for people.

And you know what? The ballots still put a (D) or an (R) after the names. It's really not rocket science. But, according to this judge - Democrats are too stupid to be able to handle it.

Our ballots are clearly labeled with the person's name, party, and office they are running for. I don't think it is wrong to force people to read the dang ballot.

 Yes.  Things change for a reason.  And the reason here is more informed voting.  Which is not a bad thing.  

 

I seem to remember a pretty strong argument from democrats about changing the definition of marriage and just "the way it has always been" not being a good enough reason.
