I got my first Albuterol inhaler from CVS, my co-pay was $40.

Express-Scripts is my prescription drug insurance company.

I just got a refill, directly from Express-Scripts.

For a co-pay of ...

Spoiler

Should I call and complain?

If you figure it out Ed, let me know. I cannot stand the prescription crap we have.

Did you only recieve a one month supply for $47? I only use Express Scripts when I'm ordering a 90 day supply.

I'd either go online and see if there were notes regarding the mail order price vs the pharmacy price or call to inquire.

Shop around.

I bet you can find a pharmacy with cheaper prices.

But some medication is just ridiculously high.

When I was taking Plavix, the generic was $124 for 30 days.

That's when I found our local Medbank.

Check with your health department.

Our Medbank is awesome.

It's a flat fee of $10 a month. No matter if you have 1 prescription or 100.

You get a 90 day supply from the company that makes it.

The $10 is due every month, even if you don't get meds that month.

It's for on going, maintenance meds.

I was getting 6 scripts every 90 days.

Only $120 a year.

You can also contact the pharmaceutical company that makes the drug.

A lot of them have programs that offer deep discounts.

Shop around.

You'll find a cheaper solution.

Or.

You can make a run to Mexico!
