Why didn't she go?

Is there a rule says she cant?

I find it extremely stupid when someone seeks a position, fame, or something like that, and then complain about the trappings of it.

You know - hijack here - but if Trump gets elected, he actually is going to have to come down a few pegs in standard of living. I mean, does the White House really compare to his mansions? Have you seen his private jet? He won't be able to jetset as he pleases.

It's going to be a rough adjustment for him, I think.

I remember when she said she hated living in the White House because it was built by slaves. She just likes to whine.

Have a little compassion, she never signed up for this, her husband became President.
She couldn't take her girls to school the first day because of security issues. That sucks.
Doesn't every parent want to take their own kids to school? And if they can't should they not talk about it?

 Yes, she did.  They made the decision together, and she supported her husband in his bid for the presidency.  Even she has said so.

Apple - it was not their first day of school.  They were 7 and 10.  It was the first day while in the White House, which would have been in January - not even the start of the school year.

 I think Gaga's point in posting the article was more to the "big guns" than the lament of a mother.  She has stated repeatedly that the Democrats are hypocrites as they push for gun control while constantly being protected by guns, showing they consider their lives, and the lives of their children, more important.

The president gets a free place to live, limo rides, a pretty impressive jet as well. Should everyone have that, would that be "fair"?

BTW...Gun control does not mean taking away your right to protect yourself. It may limit the type of gun but not that can't have a gun.

They haven't taken our guns yet but it's a matter of time before they try. As long as people keep making it about guns instead of crazy or evil people you will never stop the violence.

The guns are not being taken away outright.

But the shaming of gun owners is just the starting point.

Buy back programs have one purpose, removing guns.

And if you are a good citizen, if you really love your family, you'll get rid of the guns you have.
