Morning! There was a big announcement of salary increases yesterday. They are adjusting pay to sync with the rest of the state. I'm almost maxed out so I probably won't get much but I'm happy for the newer people. Maybe they will stay!

OMG! So hot. The bus driver was yelling to me to just get on. He knows I'm commuting, going the other way. So he went to the bus hub and said just sit here. I'll get you where you need to be. I wish I had a DD coffee card or something to thank him.

I get a pay raise at 2000 hours. So far I'm at 210. 😎

We're in the middle of a burn ban, and dingbat renter (works in the oil field and
is away most of the time) comes home to find all sorts of clothes that don't
belong to him or his wife (kids clothing, shoes, etc. etc.) all over the house.
He's pissed, and tosses all the stuff out into the middle of the yard, and sets fire
to them! The fine starts at $500 PLUS court costs. We have a burn pit (its full
of stuff his wife has dumped there), but you can't have any fires that are not in
a metal container of some sort (barrel, BBQ, etc).
He's been in and out several times today, but his wife still isn't home. I bet
they'll have a knock-down-and-drag-out fight when she returns. I just hope
they don't kill one another.
Apparently the wife has been letting people live with her while he was working.
All sorts of skinny shorts, tank tops, shoes, - nothing that would remotely
fit her! He's been making it a point to not let her know when he was coming
back. He sure has a surprise for her when she decides to come back. :)
Oh my! When I lived in military housing that kind of stuff happened often. Husband would go overseas and wife would be up to all kinds of shenanigans. Never a dull moment.
I am #killingit at #adulting. Just used leftovers to make mashed potatoe & cheese muffins (mostly just crispy & browned up mashed potatoes and grated cheese. So proud of me.
