So I have the usual seasonal allergies. But I am also allergic to pine nuts. I haven't been officially diagnosed but the last time I had them on a meal my esophagus closed up. unfortunately, pine nuts are used far to much these days as a garnish on pasta meals. And of course in pesto.

DD is allergic to pencil shavings. In elementary school she couldn't sit by the pencil sharpener or should would be miserable. She was tested and was positive for trees, grass and nickel - none of which are exotic. But the pencil shavings did her in every time.

Not sure. We had a note from DD's allergist to make sure she could use mechanical pencils even in the lower grades and to ask that she not sit by the sharpener.

And it seems pistachios are a new problem. Only recently started, but they cause my mouth, tongue, and throat to tingle and itch.
And the saddest thing to happen was at 20, I began having allergy headaches when tokin it up.

KFC. Love it. Makes me sooooo sick. I can eat fried chicken from anywhere else with no issues.
Same here SB. I think it's the grease.
Amoxacillan. I get a UTI every time I take it. I don't know if it is really an allergy or just a reaction but I tell the doctor I'm allergic to it so they will give me something different.
We have 1 KFC left. We haven't eaten anything from there since my kids were babies.
It's just dirty.

I'm allergic to uncooked milk fat. If I have a glass of milk, bowl of cereal, or anything that has uncooked milk in it, the milk must be fat free. But, pancakes or anything else with cooked milk in it, I can have any kind of milk. It's a hard allergy to explain to people but, thankfully, it very rarely ever comes up.
I'm not lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy. My pediatrician called it an allergy to the milk fat protein.
I think I may be developing an allergy to cats though. Hmmmm.....
That would be odd. You know people with cat allergies can actually get immune to one or two specific cats.
And people that have never had cat allergies become so allergic that they can't live in the same house. Right? Right??? Please tell me I'm right! LOL!!!!!
