Woke up with a dead leg this morning. Don't know when or how, but apparently pulled the tendons in my groin.
So I'm using a cane and hobbling around like some freak horror movie creature.

I am not ready to watch football every single night for the next 5 months. Once or twice a week is fine, but not nightly. DH is a football watching nut. It's his favorite thing to do at home. Otherwise he's fishing. I will miss those evening fishing trips of his.

I'm so ready for fall but I rarely watch football. My dad was like your DH about football. I watched it growing up & enjoyed it. I watched my local team ever since until about 5 or so years ago. Sean didn't really like watching football & I just didn't care enough to make it a big deal. Then after he moved out & I tried watching again I couldn't stand how slow it was & how much talking there was. I think I may need to record it & watch in fast forward.
SB, hope you do get a raise, you deserve one just like everyone else.

Must have been the night for pinching a nerve. I woke up and could barely walk. Took me almost an hour to work the kink out.
Debating whether or not to buy paint today. I hate painting but it needs to be done. The kitchen seriously needs a fresh coat.
But the sewing machine is calling. Hmm, wonder which "need" will win this morning. ;)

Well, my leg isn't hurting much anymore, it just feels half numb now.
It's swollen and cool to the touch though.
We'll see how it is in the morning.
