So, I saw THIS advertisement pin on Pinterest -

Joanna's Traditional style is a modern day take on yesterday’s timeless designs…:

And I'm like - I HAVE TO HAVE THAT TABLE!  And we have one of those furniture stores nearby.  So I click through, and NOWHERE on the website does this table exist.  There is a buffet table that matches it, but not the regular table.  NOR is that black china cabinet on the site.

That is ANNOYING.

I agree and it seems to happen to me a lot. I'll see something and fall in love, click on it and there's no option to buy it anywhere.

Probably with the hope that since you are already on the site, you will purchase something similar....

I've watched their show, they have a lot of stuff that you can't get anymore.

Maybe look up their website.

These aren't the antiques they use on the show.  This is a BRAND NEW line of furniture that just came out to be mass marketed for the public from a chain furniture store.

Ok. But maybe it is sold through their website.

I'm wondering if maybe it's not legit.

It's an ad for American Signature Home, which is a retail chain furniture store, like Rooms to Go and Haverty's. I bought my bedroom set there, and my family room couch. They have a bunch of Magnolia Home furniture on their site - just not that table.

LOL - the budget changes based on the quality of the furniture.  If I know it will last forever, I'll pay a lot for it.  If it's something I'm only going to get to enjoy for 7-8 years and then it will need replacing, that affects the budget.

All in budget is a sort of slogan of those two fixer uppers.

I have been needing a dining room table for the past 3 years due to it falling apart. Heck, the leg fell off and it is barely holding on now that I glued it. However hubby and I are having a hard time agreeing on what to get. :sigh:

Once I buy a new one, I'll have an extra!

I love my dining room table, but even with the leaf, it only seats 6 - it's too small.  I want to be able to seat 8, at least.

Alright - I found it all on a different site.

$5100 for the table, 6 side chairs, 2 arm chairs, and the china cabinet.

The table is 96 inches long - I have to measure, the one I have now is 60 inches long. That's another 3 feet. I think it's ok.

Yes.  The table is REALLY reasonable - it's $1200.  But getting so many chairs is what brings the price up.

Glad you found it! I have a table that I'm refinishing, it's really nice, solid oak, great for pounding clay. Not nearly that big though and only six chairs. I need to reupholster them, any ideas for the best fabric?

Definitely home decor fabrics - they are thicker and won't wrinkle.  Do you have a color preference?  For kitchen chairs, a darker pattern will hides drips and stains better.

I like bright colors, I was thinking of doing each chair a different color and having a rainbow table

How about a stripe? Stripes are classic even when they are crazy colors.

I don't know how big your cushions are, but if they would fit, you could go super cheap and buy this set of napkins and do each chair -

The Pioneer Woman Bandana 4-Pack Napkin

That's too far away for me - I'll have to find a local dealer.
