Let's get it done! Coworker is on Vacation so I'm on call untill next Tuesday. Can't wait till the new people can take call. But on a happier note, all that call pay will be on my check the Friday before my vacay starts! Cha Ching!

Monday again. Ugh! I had the best Chinese food this weekend. I ordered from a new place that advertises as healthy Asian cuisine. They put a ton of crunch veggies in their dishes. And the shrimp were huge. I might be ordering from them every weekend!

beef should fall quite a bit.
Good time to clean out the refrigerator - did the pantry a couple of
weeks ago. Its amazing the number of duplicates I had - just
didn't know where they were!
I just got subpoenaed to appear in that custody fight of my previous tenants. I am so livid my hands are shaking. She will be sorry she got me involved. I will tell the judge neither is fit & to turn the child over to CPS.

That is the thing. I don't really even know anything. They both called the police so many times on each other & neither would ever press charges. I can't remember exactly but it was over a dozen times in a little over a week. I only know that because the police called me at home.
Yeah.....I made the mistake of trying to get him out because he wasn't on the lease (which can't be done in VA) so I wouldn't have to evict her. I wrote a letter to the sheriff's dep't. Saying she was not the problem, he was. Now it has come back to bite me in the ass. That was also before I knew the extent of the damage done to my property. I had hoped once they were evicted I'd never cross paths with them again. EVER.

Had a long day at work full of meetings. Tomorrow I take the managers out to lunch to celebrate last year's results! I had a bit of money left in my professional development fund so I am spending it on the team! They are all excited about it. I also wrote each manager a thank you card for their hard work last fiscal year. It isn't much but it's better than nothing.
