Wow. A whole new world for her. It is exciting.

I remember being more worried when they started middle school than when they started kindergarten.

Well. I have been awake-ish since 3:45 this morning. I don't know why I can't sleep.

It was after midnight before I went to sleep and I'm taking melatonin.

Oh well.

I'm over dog sitting. She's a really sweet dog, but she has hardly any training, and combined with how big she is, just makes it too chaotic.

So after RSVPing my mom gives me a load of guilt that my brother is upset with me & I really need to go. So I just talked with my brother & he said he isn't upset but doesn't really understand why I don't want to go. So I tell him most of it has to do with money. He said it would be $200 at most. I said the hotel alone is $200 night minimum. He told me he had already paid for my hotel room for both nights. So why the he11 didn't anyone tell me?!?

Right?  The 8 hour drive down I95 is also a factor but it is easier to play the expense card than the it's too far to drive card.

I've known a couple or two that wed in MB. The pictures looked nice.

Windows. Ugh. We cleaned them once a year. Haven't done it yet this year. Might skip it. I need to have the house power washed so I'll probably have them do the windows at the same time.

I think we are going to be replacing all our windows soon.

But it's past time.

Going to be repairing the eaves and replacing gutters so we'll do it all at once.

Picking a good color will be the challenge.

I clean my windows somewhat frequently. I have the tilt in kind so every so often I clean the windows because of the ease. I do have two HUGE picture windows that of course do not tilt in. They rarely get cleaned. The one in the living room has lots of dog lick art on it.

 I'd be pissed too if no one had told me they paid for a motel room for me. I'd make the trip for that. And hide out.

I spent my day off repairing two quilts.

The dog is going to die.

No pool sitting. Family 24/7. She'll need a vacation from that!

It isn't until October so I don't know about the weather. But I'm sure there will be a ton of family drama. She is technically my step-niece. He bio-dad & step mom will be there. Bio-dad & my brother get along fine but SIL hates his "new" wife & isn't too fond of him. He made a really nasty comment once that I have never forgiven him for, even though I've never met him.
My SIL was battling cancer & they got in some fight over my niece. He told her to rot in hell then added of right I guess you already are rotting. Or something to that effect. Just so incredibly nasty it is unforgivable IMO.

I'm not going to be there. I'll just enjoy the pictures!
