I am off to work. I have a few reports I need to catch up. And I have a 40 hour training to work on. Hoping I can get through a couple sections today.

Have a good day of rest to everyone else 😀

I have a little bit of work to do, mostly review of some results. Anyway I may even buy a bike today!

Work hasn't called yet. Not sure which docs are on call today, that usually makes a difference. Don't stay all day DG. IKWTDS DD and I have been talking about getting bikes. First I need to get something installed to haul them though. Nowhere to ride here except around the block. There are a lot of trails to ride on but most are 20 miles away.

I can ride around my neighborhood too but I will have to get some sort of rack for my car for getting to the trails.  It is one reason why I am procrastinating getting the bike.  The rack will probably cost more than the bike!

Happy Monday!

More tennis for me.

And a hair cut at 11.

Maybe we'll grill up some burgers later.

I hope everyone enjoys their day off!smile

I'm going to get a trailer hitch put on. I have racks on top but you know how short I am. The rack can attach to the hitch. Then, if I get a SUP or a kayak I can get a little trailer to pull them vs. trying to put them on the roof of the car.

I need the trailer type too.  I don't think I am strong enough to life the bike on top of the car without scratching/dinging the car. But the worry I have is will I be able to open the hatch up on the back of the car?

I'm not sure. Call your dealer or go on the website and look at accessories.

I bought it!  At the LL Bean outlet.  It was $100 off plus another 20% and I had $100 in LL Bean coupons.  So many people, not store employees, came right over to help load it in the car.  Such nice people!  only thing is the front brake needs adjustment, I can't quite get it right.

Sliders made, corn & black bean salad made. Napkins/silverware rolled and on tray. Party acrylic dishes/glasses set up. Patio hosed off. Gonna get the beverage server out and start the cheese/cracker/grapes tray. Weather is spectacular!

IKWTD and SB, you should look into fat tire bikes. Smoothest, easiest most pleasant ride I've ever had. Ever since I got mine I want to take it out every day and on top of that it's a real head turner!

I'll look into them. I need a 24" bike since I'm child height, lol. Just more comfortable to ride.

I think one of my neighbors died. When i was going to work earlier a county van and a unmarked police car were pulling up to the house. On my way back there was several cars at the house and a bunch of people standing outside. An older couple lives there and the woman wasn't doing very well.

My neighbor was telling me about those tires.  The bike I bought has normal mountain bike width.  I had to adjust the breaks.  The tires do need air so will do that another time.  I took it for a short spin.  Kept finding things to adjust.  Good test ride though.  I love it.  I can so see myself hopping on the bike frequently.

Oy. Long day. Took my grandma out for her birthday. Her birthday was late last month but she was sick so we had to wait to take her out. Service started off mediocre and got worse. Took DS for a haircut after lunch. Tried to get a donut but the place was already closed even though the sign said 'closing at 6pm on Labor Day' and it was only 522p. Headed back to grandma's and nearly got in an accident thanks to some moron who apparently was so blind she couldn't see my truck. I had the green light. Her light was red. And the best? She opted to jump the curb to complete her turn rather than stop. Idiot.

I drive a truck. It's not like I'm in some itty bitty car that is invisible in blind spots. Yet, my truck seems to be invisible. *shrug*

DH and I are seriously considering getting front and back dash cams. Getting really tired of boneheaded drivers and would like proof of their boneheadedness should I ever need it.

 We're good, thanks :)

Just got tired of the one thing after another yesterday. It didn't help that DS had an accident at the table and our server completely derped out. I noticed she had some plastic bags in her hands so I tried to do the right thing and clean up his accident so I asked her for a couple bags. Didn't want to leave soiled napkins on the table, kwim? She looked bug-eyed at his accident and scampered off, bags still in hand. Alrighty then! Our server went MIA so we had to ask another server for a couple of bags. Grandma and I went to the bathroom to get DS cleaned up while DH took care of the table. Never did see our server again.

Maybe we can sell our vehicles to spies. I mean, the stealth paint being already included should command a pretty high price, don't you think?

 Ed: Just now seeing this.

We're waiting on extra money to buy them. They're not a priority for us and we have other things we're focusing on financially at the moment. Tuition for DS' school next year being #1. If we get money that isn't earmarked for something else and we find a good deal, we will get some. We're hoping to find a good deal on a package set (front and back cams) so we can also get some for my dad and uncle for their vehicles. If extra money doesn't happen, we will get them when they reach the top of the priority list.

What are you waiting for? By the time you need it, it's too late.

My dash cam is a Canon digital camera with video that became obsolete once I got a smart phone that I always carry.

I found a way to attach it to the dash board, and bought a few extra batteries.

Do you have an old digital camera with movie mode that is sitting in a drawer?
