Hillary Clinton left a New York memorial service marking the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks early after feeling "overheated," according to a campaign spokesman.
"Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen," spokesman Nick Merrill said. "During the ceremony, she felt overheated, so departed to go to her daughter's apartment and is feeling much better."
Clinton arrived at the memorial at 8:18 am and greeted Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and his wife as she exited her van, according to the pool.
Reporters traveling with Clinton became aware about 9:36 a.m that she was no longer in the place where she had been standing. By 9:48 a.m., her campaign confirmed that Clinton left the viewing area as early as 9:30 a.m.

Well, there has been a whole lot of praying done there.
Maybe she can't tolerate it.
Yes. That was mean.

See she has been diagnosed with pneumonia. This will put a crimp into her campaigning. I wonder how it will affect the vote?? Sympathy for the sick person? Or awareness that the best possible health is necessary to be President of the US?

I just heard this. Thing is she can blame her latest coughing episode on it but not all those from the past 8+ months. She must has some other condition that is causing her body to be weak. I wonder if she will make it to the election. And what happens if she doesn't?

I don't know, I had walking pneumonia for almost a year, once.
Well, it would start getting better and then get bad again.

Isn't there some kind of national emergency reason for extending the term of the President? Seem to remember something was enacted during/after the Vietnam War. May be wrong, though. If so, it has never been used, but always a first time.
If she is elected and then falls ill or worse the VP supposedly would take over but I am betting Bill would take over as surviving spouse or whatever....

I don't think a candidate being ill counts. No one has the right to have an election postponed because they are sick. And Bill can't run for president again - he's done.

The problem for Hillary is that this isn't an isolated event. She resigned as Secretary of State for health reasons, and people were already seriously questioning her health because of other instances. If this was a one-off, ok - rest and get better. But's it's not. It's a pattern. And she is stupid to continue in this election - the stress cannot be good for her. She is putting this power chase above her own health.

You weren't nearly 70 though and with other health issues at the time.
True.
Just sayin that it is possible this has been an ongoing issue.
Would explain the coughing fits.

I did not mean Bill would run but that he would attempt to step in as surviving spouse and usurp the VP's place.... Not possible, probably, but strange things have happened...
The states could also postpone their individual election days in the event of natural disasters. The electoral college doesn't meet until December, so the first Tuesday in November could be flexible for the states if necessary.

Conservative media doesn't believe it's pneumonia.
Only the idiots that are voting for her believe it. That doubles the idiocy. Voting for her makes you an idiot. Believing that she has pneumonia makes you an even bigger idiot...

Pneumonia would explain the coughing, but there are so many other symptoms that it does not. And if did have pneumonia, why is she still on the road and not in a hospital? And why does her staff not seem to be fazed by her oddly obviously unhealthy conduct? Is it because she does it all the time, or because if they act like it's normal the sheep (her supporters) will start to think it's normal, too? (insert cackling, over the top laugh here)

No, I've changed my mind on what I said earlier about the cough. If you have pneumonia, the cough is a deep one, it's bronchial. Her cough is not that. Plus, if she did have it and after that collapse, she would not have been up an hour later greeting people on the sidewalk. She had a seizure of sorts.

Whatever it is, she has handled it very poorly. If she was diagnosed with pneumonia, she should have announced that properly, taken time to rest, and come back strong. Instead, she has botched the announcement completely, trying to hide it, and making people wonder what else she is hiding healthwise.
And if she can't even understand how to handle the press and public related to this, how would she handle even more sensitive issues as President?

You can't believe the number of people I meet that have already forgotten this important little fact. And when I ask them if they think being President would be more stressful than being Secretary of State, they look at me like I just grew two more heads. It's almost as if they can't even tie the two together. Like they are thinking "what's her health while she was Secretary of State got to do with anything? She's not running for Secretary of State".

There are some people so blinded by hate for everything they do not agree with, that they will cling to someone they think they agree with against all sense and decency. And the plain fact is that Hillary believes in nothing but what can give her something. She's a greedy, horrible person. I can't believe people can't see it.

I asked this question on Richard's board and got told that's what the Trump camp wants me to think.
I asked: Shouldn't we consider her health when choosing the candidate? What if she dies? Would her VP be a good choice for President?
Trump's health was brought up as well. Like with Hillary, if he has health issues, those should be considered too.
The health of all candidates is always a concern, always has been and should be. Not sure why they are lying t you by telling you differently.
I agree.
It just threw me for a loop that that was the response. I don't care what either candidate's camp says. If the candidate's health is bad enough they can't campaign, I don't feel they'd be able to handle the stress of being President. I don't pay attention to the propaganda and mud-slinging from either side.
