You know when you are driving and some reckless idiot blows by you and you just WISH a cop would catch that person? Well, today, we were driving home and we were stopped at a red light with about 4 cars stopped behind us. Cars were at every side of the intersection. This crazy driver passed all of the stopped cars at breakneck speed and ran right through the red light and just kept going. It turned green and we started going and as soon as we went around a curve, a cop pulled out in front of us, lights flashing and pulled that car over. I'm certain he didn't see the red light incident, and was just reacting to the speeding - but it was very satisfying, none the less.
And, since the person risked lives with their little stunt, I called the state trooper dispatch and informed them what the gold SUV that just got pulled over had done.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
The other morning i was driving to work. I was working out of town so i was on a long windy lonely stretch at 5 am. This car pulled up and was tailgating me for some distance. It was a windy road and I had to drive it a bit slower. Plus it was dark. There really wasn't any opportunity to pull over. Well, he finally went screaming past me so i flicked him the high beams. Then a bit up the road, i saw that he pulled over. I thought "oh crap". And, i didn't have my gun with me, lol. So, i went by him and pulled out and then proceeded to ride my arse with the high beams on. I just kept driving my normal speed, then finally he passed me really closely along the side and cut right in front of me, barely missing my car!
From now on, i will carry my gun!
On a couple of occasions I've had the privelage of seeing those speedy mcgreedies being pulled over by a cop. I always give a little toot of the horn and a wave of the hand with a big smile as I pass.

I don't cut people off or drive recklessly, but I don't doddle.
Nothing is more annoying than someone with no where to go and all day to get there.

It's so gratifying when a bonehead gets pulled over.
A couple months ago, a car ran the red and turned right in front of a cop. He got pulled over. I laughed.
I find it hilarious when someone speeds ahead of me just to sit at the red light first. I like to time it when I'm approaching the light so it's green when I get there and I don't have to come to a full stop.
Actually, this was me with my last ticket. You know when two people are driving down the road side by side... on purpose... to keep everyone in line and below the speed limit? Yep. That was the scenario. Except when the stop light turned green, one didnt keep up and a few of us snuck past them. And right into the path of Mr. Officer noting me at 14 over and the guy behind me 25 over. Regretfully, we did NOT get a group discount for our indiscretion.
If you are in the passing lane, and someone comes up behind you, you have to get over out of their way. Even if you are doing the limit, or even no matter how fast you are going.

Years ago on my way to Novato with some friends (on 101, I think) a guy in a pickup was weaving in and out of traffic in a huge hurry to get some place. A few miles up the road we saw his pickup rolled over; looked like he hit the median and tossed himself. Pretty obvious he was no longer with us.
I can't say that I've ever witnessed someone doing stupid things and then get pulled over. I have quite often wished that I was a cop when there wasn't one handy, so I could do the pulling over though.

That's unfortunate. But really, what do people expect when they drive like idiots?
And contrary to belief, one person doesn't own the road. Other people don't have to drive fast to please you. Or pull out in front of traffic to make a turn so you won't have to stop. Or otherwise risk life and limb so as not to inconvenience someone in a hurry.
