Tummy is stiff and hurts today but not horrible. I'm supposed to walking around every so often so I figure I'll do some light stuff around the apartment. I made egg bagels for breakfast. Gonna stick a pork loin in the crock pot soon. I want to do a load of laundry but I can't bend that much just yet.

Boys have been bringing friends home with them. Today it's a new one. Lives on the next street. I've been coming home to three, sometimes four boys every day since school started.
The only day this week I decide to leave work on time, and I can't go home because the cleaning lady is still there. She's very chatty. I don't want to chat. I wanted to take the dogs out and run over to the city to pick up some things and get dinner. Oh well, I'll venture home again in a bit, see if she's gone (yes, I saw her car in the driveway and turned around). I'll just go to dinner in town I guess.

So, G flew to Canada today (well, he flew to Detroit and drive to Canada), but on his flight was this specimen. He days the picture does not do him justice. That he was HUGE. Hes 27 years old and attends military ceremonies...
One of the camp grounds we use to go to often was a protected habitat for them.
The nests are big, too.

Hope everyone not feeling well gets better.
I took both granddaughters to the doctor this afternoon. Six year old had a temp of 102.2. They both got shots. Older one had a low grade temp but she was really sick last night.
Made a quilt block for an Honors quilt that will be auctioned off to raise funds for Vietnam Vets Honor flights for next year. That's the fastest I've ever made a quilt block. Got the material late morning and had it to the lady putting the quilt together before heading to the doctor.
It was either get it done immediately or forget it. I was afraid of not being able to get it done so I just did it.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
We are starting our seasonal change regimen trying to avoid being sick.
It's only a little past 7 and the sun is about to dip below the horizon.

So, after about 20 years with hotmail, I'm switching to gmail. Hotmail has become AWFUL.
I don't think I've had email that long,, in fact I am sure of it.
It's actually been longer. I've had a hotmail account since hotmail started, only changing my email address when I got married. But, since they switched to "Outlook" online, they keep upgrading it, and slowing it down, and making it ridiculous. I just want simple email - is that so much to ask?
