I think it's more about merchandise related to shows and such.

Caitlyn got the Supernatural Clue for her birthday. Same game but tweaked towards the show.

Reddit generally is a geek chat site about tons of different topics. Reddit gifts (redditgifts.com) is a year-round themed secret santa type exchange program. You sign up for exchanges and send a gift to your giftee, someone else sends to you. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes, not so much. I have received some fabulous gifts, and I've been stiffed once, but they do place emphasis on GIVING, not receiving. They do 5 or 6 rounds a year. You get points for successfully completely exchanges and can use higher points to be matched with other higher point (proven) people. They also have a "rematch" section where you can volunteer to send to someone who got stiffed - you won't receive anything in return.

Right now - the themed exchanges are Disney, Supernatural, Hockey, Football, Gnomes, Nail polish, Diwali, Keychains, Awesome smells, Trick or treat, phone cases, coffee and tea, basketball, and postcards.

I'm signed up for the Disney and the Supernatural exchanges. After this round, they will have the Christmas exchange.
