A clown was spotted outside of an elementary school near me holding a shotgun and left a note behind that said Halloween must be cancelled or else kids will be killed. 

So now the city is talking about imposing a curfew on Halloween. I mean, what else are they supposed to do? I guess it's the right call. 

What do you guys think about the clowns?

They are all over the country now and in some places some of them may possibly get themselves shot.

They shouldn't cancel halloween. Parents will be with the kids, at least that is how it is in my neighborhood. The police will out. There are kooks everywhere. Be cautious but ignore the threat. I have to ask, how credible is that siting? Some people take perceived threats and make them more than they are.

So what about the people, kids and adults, who want to be clowns for Halloween?

I think this clown thing is crazy.

2 arrests in Boston yesterday. Stupid kid pointing his phone like it was a gun.

One in Fredericksburg, VA yesterday. A woman in her 30's was sitting in her car and clown came up, touched her shoulder and growled at her before running off. Another one in Texas. Across the street from man in his garage. Clown entered property and Texan fired his gun into the air and he ran off. I love Texas.

Caitlyn told me about this a few weeks ago, I had a thread here about it.

And I've seen some police warnings about it.

Most are just harmless pranks.

But some are using it as a way to try and get people, kids, to go off with them.

A kid was suspended here for wearing a clown mask and roaming his school banging on classroom windows. He actually got charged with something by the police.

There have actually been sightings in Canada now too. 2 reported in my area of the city.

A 14 yo kid in Fort Worth was arrested yesterday because he posted on FB he was going to dress up like a clown and go to two elementary schools and kill kids.

It's October. People have to stop assuming everyone dressed as a clown is a murderer. There are no confirmed actual abductions or killings by these clowns.

 The guy Trudy mentioned apparently chased some kids, claiming it was all in fun. The kids nor the police were amused.

I dont get it. There are over 300 million owned guns in our homes and cars throughout the U.S.... If you go out now in a clown suit with the idea you are going to do harm, you need to be shot for your stupidity.

Well, up here parents are being warned to keep close eyes on their kids while trick or treating (not that anyone should NEED to be told that) but schools are sending out warnings. Of course, I work in a seriously gang populated part of my region, so technically clowns are the worst of our 'being out after dark' issues.
