OMG. He is roasting her at the Al Smith dinner for REAL! Wow! Go Donald! He is going for her throat!! They are booing him! She looks pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why is it a good thing for a potential president to be so aggressive and volatile?
You mean as opposed to some pansy ass that topples us from the strongest nation in the world, feared by terrorist nations, to a laughing stock target?
Nope. I mean as opposed to a person who remains polite and respectful yet firm when facing adversity. Trading barbs just because "they did it too" is juvenile. I want a true leader. One will who rise above the muck and refuse to sink to others' levels. Not responding when something bad is said against you shows strength of character in that you have confidence that the truth will shine through in spite of others' deleterious statements.
Remember, even when being crucified, Jesus did not say one unkind word about those who were crucifying Him. Instead, he asked His Father to forgive them.
As to being a laughing stock ... I don't support either candidate. They both make me cringe in disgust. I feel we'll be a laughing stock no matter who gets elected. One is a criminal and a liar. The other is arrogant and is already causing us to be laughed at by other countries. Well, they're both arrogant, actually. Either way, I don't see things ending well.
I agree. Had we elected Mitt Romney last election, as we should have, our choices now wouldn't be Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Mr. Romney would be the default Republican this election as the incumbent seeking re-election for a second term; and the Democrats are smart enough to know that there's no way Hillary Clinton beats Mitt Romney, so they wouldn't run her. I don't know who it would have been. I just know it would not have been her.
I do deal with reality. The reality is I would much rather have Mitt Romney than either of these two. But, as that is not an option, Trump is my choice between the two options that we have.
He's a hot head, he has an ego the size of Texas and he has no filter.
If there were a better choice, I would not vote for him.
But there isn't a bether choice.
Trump isn't going to waltz in and say a magic word and all the problems be fixed.
He is going to have a very steep uphill climb.
The real way to change things is getting all the stale career politicians out of the Senate and House.

I believe Trump will surround himself with smart people. He already made a good choice in choosing Pence as his running mate compared to hillary choosing that goofball Kincaid.
