Trudy, sending hugs your way.
Lily, hope you find something to do.
Good morning, momala!
O4, YAY for new windows!
Back to purging our house here today. Ugh. How did we acquire so much junk? I am becoming ruthless. I'm even throwing my stuff away. ;)
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Aw....drink, trudy!

Yay to new windows and throwing out junk!

At the office today. Looking for lump crab taco recipes. Trying to figure out how to do this without tomatoes & jalapenos for the boys, yet stretch out the crab and make it go far enough.

 New windows are exciting!

I want to cut a new window into the bathroom.  It doesn't have a window and I'd like to add one.  I wonder how much that would cost.  I want a long, narrow one above the shower.

I think corn sounds better plus corn is a typical ingredient in Mexican food.

I just got an email from a potential new customer. He wants to know what he needs to do to start getting deliveries of material. He replied to an email I sent him two weeks ago that said please fill out the attached form to becomes an approved purchaser. I don't have the form back. Is it bad form to reply, do what I told you to do two weeks ago?

I would just attach the prior email (with the form attachment) and let him know you need that completed form before you can set up deliveries.  And apologize if your prior email was never received.

That's my plan. But he annoys me. His kids go to school with the kids of a couple people that work here. And when I didn't call him immediately, he was calling them. Then, one of them comes and asks me about product information because this guy told her he didn't get anything. She wanted to know what my process is and when I would be sending it. I told her I offered and he said he is already familiar with it and declined any information he sent. She goes, oh, he didn't mention that.

AND, I don't even have any material to sell him. All my current production is already under contract, which I explained. So it's not like I'm hold him up getting a delivery.

Sorry for your loss Trudy

I'm spending all day fixing mistakes I made last week. I have been perfecting the art of putting the error in trial and error. It's getting kind of discouraging.

Anyway, parent teacher conferences are tonight, DF can't go so it's just going to be me and mom. The upside is, I have to leave work early for it!

Depends on when your house was build. There are a lot of weird rules about where you can put a window and how big it has to be.

Ours had one, but when the former owners added the den, it was taken out.

Same with the dining room.

Nah- that's not it.  Our county is really, really easy going with that kind of thing.  Besides, our last house had one and it was built around the same time.

I have an older house, so my master bath is really strange. I have a dressing area that has a sink, vanity, and mirror as a smaller open room to my bedroom. Off of that is my shower/toilet (this has a door). Really strange set up, but I love it. But alas, there is no window in the shower room. I would have loved to have one either over the shower or over the toilet. Both are on outside walls. It's not cheap...:(

Try adding finely minced celery, onion, shredded carrot,
minced green peppers, anything that will not add extra
juice to the tacos. Cilantro, if you have it (a little goes
a long way).

My mom has her vanity area in a nook of her bedroom backing up to the bathroom.  The real estate agent said she would hate it but it worked out really well.  My mom & I did our hair & makeup there & it freed up the bathrooms for my dad & brother to shower.  For some odd reason that none of us knows why, my family all shared the same hair dryer, brush & comb.  My mom & I shared the make up & curling iron.  We did each have our own tooth brush biggrin

Lexxy, had one hair dryer, and curling iron. Shared the hot rollers.

But I couldn't use the brush or comb mom used.

She had super fine baby hair, I had thick, super curly hair.

We had one bathroom for 4 people growing up. We made it work. Don't remember really arguing about it.

I had a makeup mirror in my room and used that to get ready.

I'd love a vanity area! My bathroom needs to be remodeled but I'm torn on putting money into the house in a crappy neighborhood or saving so I can eventually move back to Florida.
