Frozen! Ugh. Must drag out my winter coat.

Woke up to a broken furnace this morning. 41 degrees in the house and I'm freezing. The cat is not happy either. Called the furnace guy but haven't mheard back yet. At least I'll have some heat at work. Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

Dropped Corgi off at the vet and I'm at work. Trying to focus. He was not happy with no breakfast, kept looking at his bowl and then at me. And when the vet tech went to take him back, he was just looking back at me trying to follow me. Poor guy. I'm going to go get myself a soda and drown my sorrows.

Poor little guy. I had that experience with Sonny when I took to have the gum scaling done. They look so sad and helpless.

A few weeks ago? It was 84 on Friday and in the 80s all last week. Then it dropped to highs in the 50s. Lows in the 30s tonight. At least let me gradually get used to the cold, don't throw it all at me at once.

It was not me complaining about the heat. I prefer 80s during the day, low 60s, high 50s for night.

That's what I hated about Texas when I was working there, it would go from like 20 degrees overnight to 80 degrees by the afternoon!

Corgi is awake and doing well - minus the 11 teeth. They assured me he will still be able to eat regular food and chew his bones. He had 2 elevated liver enzymes on his annual blood work. They tested him today and one had gone up a little and one came down. They did an ultrasound and his liver is slightly enlarged, but we are just going to keep an eye on it. She doesn't think it's an immediate concern. At his annual exam she was concerned he had lost weight without really trying. He was up 4 pounds today so she was happy about that. He'll come home tonight.

Overall, he's looking good for 13.

We are 40s at night and 70-80 during the day. It's annoying. You want to dress warm in the morning, and by noon you are dying.

Thanks guys. I've been so nervous about all of this. I hated leaving him this morning. And I was so scared they would find something during the tests. I can deal with the results basically saying he's just an old dog.

I'm still on baby watch. G went to see DSD, but didn't stay long. His ex-wife is making everyone (including DSD) miserable. One of the nurses actually told her to shut up.

I'm not touching that until the baby gets here.

I'm glad he seems to be doing ok. Dogs don't actually NEED to chew their food, so he should be ok. Get smaller kibble.

Brr, it's cool here and damp. It did make it to 62 degrees earlier, not so much now though. The damp is killing my bones.

Corgi is conked out in the middle of the floor. Good thing I read the paper they sent home, so I'm not freaked out about the bloody drool at his feet. However, I would love to get some more to eat, but I don't want to get up and disturb him. Oh well, I'm supposed to be trying to lose weight anyways, right?
