My daughter and family just left for the airport :(. Really enjoyed this week except for my grandson's injury. He is getting around real good. He does look cute in the cast and is still my happy-go-lucky little boy.
The house is way to quiet and I miss them already.

I'm at the office. I've got a few things to catch up on before boss gets back Monday. But I don't mind. I'm the only one here. So it's nice and quiet and I'm in a good work mood.
Oh, and I'm playing Christmas music. I will not be ashamed, they make me happy.
I didn't rake the yard. It is overwhelming plus all the leave aren't down yet. And then DD explained to me the mold growth under the leaves is a good thing for the environment. An 11 YO talked me out of it with her logic.
I did clean off the deck, it's a huge deck, winterized it and the furniture, cleared the leaves out of the gardens. So at least when I procrastinate on raking the yard, I am productive elsewhere! Going to the grocery store next.

DH and I were up and out the door early (for us anyway). Went to breakfast then did some errands. Came home and tried to nap. Body said nope. So I started organizing the basement pantry (we don't have one in the kitchen, just cabinets).
Now I am avoiding doing school work while DH is steam cleaning the carpets in the spare bedroom.
Finishing up somethings at work. I had to take a break and run home. It seems that when I got my new phone, my music didn't all transfer. Which annoyed me. So I had to fix it right then. Went home, got it all sorted out and now back at work. Picking up my cousin for never ending pasta bowl for dinner. I haven't eaten all day, so I should get my money's worth
We had to make a Seattle run today because I'm almost out of glaze and the only pottery store around is in Seattle. We are making a day out of it though, might as well.
Tig, your post made me laugh, thanks!

Was it a bad day?
Or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day?
So of course DD has a friend over tonight. I finished dinner, dishes, and making pumpkin sugar cookies. I even cleaned out the storage area in the small unfinished part of the basement. Looks great. Fire going, I am freaking exhausted. Movie tonight so I don't have to see the stupid lying political commercials. Plan on falling asleep on the sofa in front of the fire.
dog drank milk tonight from dD's friend's cup. That screws up his kidneys, I keep having to take him out to pee. GRRRRRR

You have a fire going, I've got the A/C on and a fan.

It was 64 in my house when I woke up this morning. I was freezing!
LOL! That is the temp I keep the heat at all winter!
I'm not visiting you in the winter.
I do, too.
It gets too stuffy otherwise.

I keep my house around 73 or 74 in winter, 77 or 78 in summer. I'm sitting in front of the fire currently with the fireplace thermostat set at 76. I don't like cold.

We are 72 in winter, and 75 in summer.
