I didn't watch any of it last night I was so sure Hilary would take it. I wore black today as a symbol of my mourning. The radio in the car had nothing on the election. I was utterly shocked when my coworker told me she had conceded the second I walked in the door. I had to check the internet to be sure she wasn't messing with me. I am floating on a high right now. I am so damn proud of the American people. They saw past the media BS & the whole first woman president & saw her for who she was & didn't elect her.

I am proud of America, too.

This is having an impact on my agency.  All-hands meetings are now being cancelled.....

The liberal sites are so freaking scared of Trump, they are seeking "safe rooms" today.

I love it!

LL, I was born and raised in California, and in my almost 58 years I've seen it go from conservative to a ridiculous parody of nonsensical liberal "ideals".  I'm willing to bet a vast majority of the rioters are on career public assistance.  That is NOT an across the board swipe at those who have needed and benefited from public assistance - rather, it is my sad recognition that my beautiful state is not what it used to be.  It became a welfare state years ago, and along with that the ideals that I (and conservative Christians like me) cherish have been almost completely eradicated.

Some places here in California still have what I call 'a small town attitude', where hard work, ethics and keeping promises are still held in high regard.  That is what I wish our country would become again...

I think we have a better chance of that now. Because those of us actually in small towns felt over looked and forgotten by the recent administration. Towns like mine have been dying with little hope of help. But now, we can become stronger and grow and spread our way of life.

There is so much triggering going on in the media, it is laughable. Finally they are starting to realize that We The People are tired of their missing journalistic integrity.

I so agree with you hm. I grew up in s.cal. I remember  when  Ronald  Reagan  was governor  and how rich the state was.  It breaks  my  heart  to see what it has become.

I thought she gave a good speech.

President Obama, on the other hand....should have kept his mouth shut.

He didn't sound prepared. At all.

I thought she gave a good speech as well. I didn't listen to O. I try to tune him out. I understand he will be meeting with T tomorrow to go over transition. O seems to be handling it well. Which makes me wonder if he really ever wanted H to win in the first place.

Dems are going to do everything in their power to destroy and delegitimze Trump. It took time to push W's approval down. They now begin the campaign against Trump.

I am one of the people that deleted Facebook over this election. I remember the despair I felt 8 years ago and how I was told to suck it and that O was our president and to just deal with it. It was not patriotic to say he wasn't MY president. It is laughable the reaction now. At work today you could feel the Republican glee and the disdain from the left. I talked with very few people about it today and my standard response was that I am stunned.

I got my Facebook back and am enjoying the hell out of it. I do understand the glee, but I do wish some people would act like we have been here before. I wouldn't rain on anyone's parade though because had the election gone the way I thought it would the other side would have been unbearable.

Wah, wah, wah. There are all these Facebook posts about "dont' gloat" etc. It isn't GLOATING to be happy that you won. It isn't gloating that Donald J Trump worked his behind off and won a hard fought race and all of his supporters are taking a deep breath and sigh of relief and happiness. But, immediately after the results were in, they started lecturing us. Lecturing us after you have spent years demeaning us, belittling us, making fun of us, calling us racist, sexist, bigot, homophobes, etc. No. Damn right i am going to be happy. He won. I can be happy that he won. Hillary had planned to shoot off fireworks. Had she won and done that, and if we said she was gloating they would say oh we were being sour grapes. I am DONE apologizing to thos people. And, when has a Democrat won an Election and EVER extended their hands or moved their agenda to cross the aisle? They never EVER have. So, no, i am not going to be quiet or tiptoe around them or minimize Trump's amazing accomplishment and victory. This is a victory for the People of this country who still believe in America, American values, self reliance adn so forth.

My SIL (lives in PA) resents being referred, demographically speaking, as "an uneducated white female." She voted for Trump. Reminded her that the demographic label came from the Hillary camp.

I just read an amazing article on MSN, sourced from of all places the Washington Post.  I guess they can print the truth now that Hillary lost. confuse

Donald Trump pulled off a stunning upset victory over Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night, rallying what he called the “forgotten men and women of our country” to win states such as Pennsylvania and Michigan that had not voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988.

But Democrats had a simpler answer for why Clinton lost. As one Democratic strategist close to Clinton told The Post, it all came down to “one word: Comey.”

Too bad for Democrats there are zero electoral votes in the State of Denial.... (read more here:

Now that Hillary didnt get the job, I wonder if her health deteriorates at a faster rate, or if it will become more prominently out there for the world to see. If I were her, I would be extra concerned due to all the foreign folk that will be wanting their 'donations' back.
