Hi all. I need to get some gifts for my younger married couples with young kids. What is a good family type gift? Any ideas? I have to ship so it would probably be something i buy on Amazon.
I pick games that are child-oriented/age appropriate. But my friends with kids like board games for their family time. Last year it was 'Happy Birthday Monopoly'. This year they have asked for kids movie tickets (they are variable and can be used for any movie) so that they can go see kids movies. Many of my clients who are on the Christmas Hamper list at work have requested passes to local activities so that they can have a family outing (I think they are all getting tickets to the Botanical Garden's Christmas Lights & Music Event).
They have a family edition trivial pursuit, it has "adult" and "kid" questions on the card. That way the whole family can play the same game and still have a challenge
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Either family games or a membership to a kids museum or local zoo, if it is not too expensive.
Another gift I would give to my nieces and nephew was that I would take them out on an experience (Sesame Place, zoo, Franklin Institute) and give the parents a day off. Kids got to spend time with Aunt JL and I got to spoil them a little. I was their favorite aunt (still am )
Get the parents a sitting service for a night so they can go out.

I was thinking of getting the boys Kindle Fires. They want 3gs or whatever, but a tablet would be more useful and they already have cell phones (no service, old hand me downs just for games) and the Wii.
Buy promo codes from RedBox and give those out with some snacks. Movie and snacks in the comfort of their own home. Unless they prefer actually going to the movies.
