A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
My first Christmas with (late) DH and his 6 children was almost
chaotic, but he had wrapping down to a science. A couple of
years previously, he had gone to a commercial paper warehouse,
and bought an entire roll of paper, including the wrought iron
dispenser. That one roll lasted 6 years! Imagine - 6 kids, in-
laws and outlaws (about 36), friends, co-workers - EVERYTHING
got wrapped in that paper - white, with holly leaves and berries.
The only way to keep things straight was to color coordinate the
ribbons. Each child had their own color (they weren't told which
color until Christmas morning, when they saw what color ribbon
was on their stocking), and other colors for the rest of the family/
friends/etc. We would clear off the pool table in the basement,
and set up an assembly line, doing each child's gifts all at one time,
so there was no mix-up. Fun times.
My problem with cheap paper is that many of my gifts are "odd" size or shape. I love making the outside of a gift as pretty as the gift itself. One year, when I gave my Dad a shirt, I took tissue paper and pleated it over and over, making the box look like a tuxedo shirt, including studs down the front, and cuff links on what looked like the sleeves, and a box tie. Took almost a full hour, but it was worth it!
You, my dear, have talent. I wouldn't know where to begin making a tuxedo shirt out of tissue paper. Wow.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
