A bank teller that doesn't follow proper procedures during a bank robbery gets fired. Any employee that doesn't follow proper procedures when faced with a situation can be fired. She fired a gun at a workplace that bans guns for employees. They had every right to fire her.

They can fire, or not fire whomever they want. They choose to fire her. Most employment is at will. I am not disputing that.

No. You don't risk being seen by anymore people than necessary.

You darn sure don't identify a vehicle.

And you don't forget or leave needed items in a car.

You just dont.

And if they were leaving, it was over.

She was also outside.

She wasn't in any danger at that point.

The fact that she got out during a robbery shows they were focused on one thing, the money.

 

She isn't a hero.

She's just an employee practicing her right to bare arms against company policy for which she got fired.

 

Sorry.

 

She should have known better.

What she should have done when she got out was use her phone and record as much as possible of where they went and how.

Car, tag if possible.

Bet she couldn't tell you what they were wearing or if they used a vehicle.

Look chic.

I've been the bad guy.

I have a little more experience at knowing how the mind of a criminal works.

Not proud of it.

Our goal was to obtain and move highly valuable products in the black market.

Oh, sure. And, she is supposed to just assume that this how it's going to play out? That's nice but you dont' know what their "focus" was. They could have been going to a car to get duct tape and come back and rape someone. You don't KNOW. Neither did she, that's the point. So if we are gonna play the WHAT IF game about what could have happened when she fired her gun, then it's only fair to apply the WHAT IF to them. Nothing bad happened. That's the point. It was over. The restaurant was fine and so were the employees. End of story. In fact it would have been the end of story if they had just allowed the story to end there. But, they didn't.

If they left someone in the building to watch all the hostages, I could believe the rest of the robbers went to get duct tape or more guns or whatever. But as they all left and ran for their car, the robbery was over and they were leaving.

As lilyofcourse said: you get in, do the job, and get out.
