I have a couple, possibly very aggravating, errands to run today.
My license is expired.
Have been for a year.
I was going to get them renewed a long time ago, before they expired, but then something, can't remember what, happened and I forgot all about it.
I had a weird dream this morning.
I dreamed I was trapped in the high school with all the students and staff because of the zombies.
No. I haven't been watching WD.
But in my dream, I was totally awesome at kicking butt!

Ugh, back to work after 3 1/2 days off. And it is raining really hard. Dull dreary and bored. I need a new gig in 2017! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I don't know if it will help, but my granny swore by strawberries after chemo.
She said it cut that yuck out really quick.

So I went early, got a copy of my birth cert., then went to the DMV.
There was 3 people there.
I walked right up and was immediately served.
Thought I had everything but I needed 2 things with my married name.
They said a bank statement would work, gave me a temporary and said I had 4 months to bring it in.
I went to the bank, got the statement and went back to the DMV.
Walked right again, spoke to the exact same person, and was out in less than 5 minutes.
I think, both visits combined, I spent a total of 10 minutes there.
Then Jesse and I got an early lunch.
Then Jesse went to Gamestop and I got a hair cut.
Did a little poké hunting.
We got groceries and they are put away and I am waiting till time to pick up Aaron.
I'm so tired.
Oh, I found out I could have used my Medicare card as ID.

I finally made it home!
Had to be at HDD's yesterday and got caught in a freezing drizzle. Tried to leave, went into a skid, turned that puppy around and went back!
So glad I did! A friend got killed on those icy roads about the same time I was trying to get home. We were on opposite ends of the town. She was about 4 miles east, I was about 3 miles north. The friend worked with HDD and was scheduled with her for tomorrow. HDD is having a bad day. We all are. :(
We had to deal with this loss this morning.
Oh, and I fell on the ice yesterday too. So did HDD.
The new year is not starting off very well.

Anyways, the video was people actually skating and playing hockey in the streets. There is about 4" of ice on all the residential streets. Literally enough to ice skate on. Not so good for driving on. Had to avoid all school zones this morning because I didn't want to risk not being able to stop if a child popped out. Main roads are fine though.
Also, survived my first dance class and in not too much pain. Heating pads are actually very useful!

I'm so sorry Cheerios, I hope your chemo treatment ends soon. Czech I'm glad you turned around instead of going forth. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Prayers lifted up for her family and you.
So far it's been a productive day. Purged some DVDs. Got my new produce baskets fabric'ed and hung up. I have a thing about covering metal baskets with sparkly fabric. This time, it was glitter fabric. DH is unamused at the dusting of glitter covering where the fabric touched.
MIL got DS a kid's table and chair set for his birthday. He loves it and so do we. We've been thinking of getting him one but hadn't yet so that was an awesome surprise. I evicted the crappy plastic kid's desk he had this morning. The drawer never worked right on it. It can find a new home with someone else. We kept the chair that came with it since it fits under his new table.

When I was a little girl, I had a little table and chair set.
It was a kids version of mom's set.
I loved it.
I kept, and used, that table until I got married and moved.
Caitlyn had a kitchen with a bar.
She loved eating at it.

DD just found out she was awarded another scholarship for next school year. It's $2000, so not much, but it all helps. She didn't even apply for this - the university selects students they think are worthy based on leadership and scholarship and she was selected!

What is really sad is craving watermelon big time (just like strawberries, watermelon kills the icky taist in my chemo mouth!) and yet it is the dead of winter and all the watermelons in the store are really poor quality. oh well. Summer is just around the corner right? RIGHT?!
NICe!!! I so want to have a big strawberry field, but the first batch of strawberries I planted weren't really tasty. Last year I planted more of the big juicy tasty ones, so hopefully they will come back next year. If only they didnt take so long to propagate.
