Of course they are not. They replaced real ingredients with modified ones. They ARE different than when we were kids. Palm oil, high fructose corn syrup and soy lecithin are just NOT as tasty.

I love the tagalongs but recently came across a store brand version at my grocery store. I thought what the heck I'll try them and MAN are they delicious! Better and cheaper

I remember them tasting better years ago. Now they are too ordinary. Besides, I dont buy from them anymore cuz they support PP. But that is a different topic.

They used to be awesome. A taste treat to look forward to. Then they made the bad decision to "improve" them. Now I imagine the box tastes better than they do. I haven't eaten one of the boxes yet though, so I just have that as a belief, for now.
They would have been smarter to increase the price to cover the increase in costs.
