I just got called by our safety manager to order pizza for the new hires that started today. Two questions I would love answers to:
1) why can't you order your own pizza like everyone else does?
2) why do you need 2 large pizzas for the TWO employees that started today?
I can't actually ask these questions, because then I look b!tchy, it's well known I have problems with this person. And I know the answer to #2, so everyone else she is friends with can eat for free. She actually did get in trouble a while ago, we had 1 auditor come in for the day. She ordered lunch for 7 extra people because they were "getting lunch for the auditor anyways". The controller about had a stroke when he saw the nearly $200 lunch bill.
He drove himself to work and back last night alone.
He was proud, so was I.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I am at work but DH closed his office today. He's looking at a potentialne offic space this afternoon in fact.
I wanna go home!
Lenni and Lily feel better!

I think his dignity is more bruised then his body.
He was suppose to have the day off work, but the boss called him in to work. He fell there, she sent him back home.
He's not recovered from last week yet, so he's in extra pain now. Poor guy.
He was supposed to just man the office today. He could have done that if he hadn't fallen.
I gave him the good stuff for his pain and he's asleep now. He doesn't have to go back until Thursday, which was the original plan in the first place.
Darn ice..
Well jeez! Stupid boss!
She never should have asked him to come in, under the circumstances!
I'm glad he's resting.
I hope he's feeling better soon, Czech!
She had a doctors appointment today, and wanted DH to cover for her, but her appointment was cancelled due to the ice. He was already at work when her appointment was cancelled. To late.
The doctors office didn't even open!
She wasn't asking him to actually work, just to be there to answer the phones while she was gone. He would have been home by noon. He thought he could handle half a day. He would have been fine if he hadn't fallen. Jarred him pretty good and he's in enough pain already.

Roger that. But given the ice storm, it seems she should have figured that the doctor's office wouldn't be open today.
Or, she could have called them to find out, before she called your husband to come in and cover for her.

(Can you tell, I still think she was stupid!)
JMHO!
I hope he feels better soon!
That was my thought too! But, as usual, I was wrong. She called him in before 8:00, her appointment was scheduled for 10:00 and the doctors office doesn't open until 9:00. That time thing messed everything up.
She thought the roads would be good by the time of her appointment. Good gosh was she wrong..
DH hasn't moved since he laid down. Poor guy.

DD and her friends made pumpkin pancakes this morning, I was at work. I came home a bit early, not only did they cook for themselves, but they cleaned up everything including putting the extra pancakes in the fridge. Just call me blown away!

And they rearranged her bedroom furniture, put down the area carpets I bought and cut the padding for underneath the rugs plus put all the face plates on to the outlets and switches! Her room looks great. All I had to do was put the door knobs back on. Great kids!

The babies just left. I am EXHAUSTED. I have no idea how I did that when my kids were little. BUT, we had so very much fun! The cuddles, kisses, and I love yous deep into the night were blessings each heartlifting. We are already planning the next visit!

Grandbabies are precious❤ I'm glad you got to enjoy yours oh-four. My little grdson is coming tomorrow and I leave again for NC. To stay with my dd and grandgirls for a week while SIL is overseas.
8 pm (not bedtime): I'm so sleepy, but it's too early to go to bed
10 pm (bedtime): just one more episode of Gilmore Girls, then I promise I'll go to bed....
An hour ago it was all I could do to keep my eyes open.
Now, I know I'm just going to lay there staring at the insides of my eyelids for two hours.
