 I don't understand why you blame the SS issue on Rebubs.  It isn't their fault,  Reagan addressed it first wanting to privatize it, then Bush. This SS thing is a hot issue. I actually think it should be dismantled except for the medical component.

I do want a 12 year term limit for all pols.

 I know it is not the only issue for Social Security but Reagan took money, Bush took money away from the SS Surplus.  Government Owes $2.7 Trillion to Social Security.  According to Bush, Bush downplayed the importance of the Trust Fund.  Some in our country think that Social Security is a trust fund – in other words, there's a pile of money being accumulated. That's just simply not true. The money – payroll taxes going into the Social Security are spent. They're spent on benefits and they're spent on government programs. There is no trust.

So, where is the SS money that people have paid into?  And why does the Government keep talking about how it will be out of funds to pay out benefits and that they want to reduce benefits?  This is money that you and I have paid into.  I do not expect there to be funds to pay out if/when I am able to retire.  It sould never have been used to pay out on other government programs.  They robbed Peter to pay Paul.  Eventually, Peter will want his money and there is none.

SS definitely needs to be phased out.  There was a proposal at one time that people my age (40s) would keep paying in and not withdrawing if our children (20s) would not be forced to pay.  I support that wholeheartedly.  If my children can be free of the farce that is SS, I would gladly take it on the chin.  I have no illusion that SS will be there for me when I retire.  I have made other plans.

Get rid of it.

 Just my 2 cents worth, but that's when I saw the picture as well.

During the actual inauguration the areas were filled.

One of the entry points was blocked by the nut job protesters, so they had to move attendee's to another entrance.

And it was raining.

If they don't like Trump, nothing is stopping them from leaving to another country. They should go to North Korea or China and see how much freedom they'll get.

In my opinion, a lot of the crying and acting out and all this fear we are seeing is what happens when the brainwashing begins to chip away.

Well, I went to the inauguration in 2001 and have that to compare this one with. There were far more people this time than in 2001. Far more. Yes, there were a lot of protesters. I stepped on and over a few to get in. The Trump supporters far outnumbered the protesters.
