So I was supposed to go out to dinner but DD is tubing tonight at a bday party, has to be picked up at 8. Dinner just wouldn't work out. So instead I steam cleaned a carpet.

And I went out to get wood from the pile and slipped and fell on the ice. I am soooo sore. No bad injuries though.

Ice is the devil! I had cleaned up the whole driveways, did not expect or see the ice near the wood pile. I am getting more sore by the minute, but no bones broken, I will be fine.

We were out on the porch with our friends when all of a sudden a Norther
blew in. I mean - REALLY blew in!!! The flags were straight out, and the
chiminea (outdoor fireplace) was popping!!!!! From calm 60 degrees to
gale force winds at 40 degrees in a matter of minutes - yuck!!! I'm just
so grateful we aren't dealing with ice.
