Yes Trudy, this Sunday is the Super Bowl.

Chilly start to the day here.

I'm not sure what all I'll get done today.

I hope everyone has a great Friday!

I am ready for the week to be over also. Although, today started off not bad. Boss man's wife is making him clean out his home office. Which means I have lots of extra office supplies to deal with. But it also means I got a filing cabinet! I've been needing one, but knew that soon a few would be getting cleaned out so I wasn't going to buy one. I've been patiently waiting with my stuff in boxes. Getting stuff all put away.

Of course, this also means I'm probably going to get moved again. Just as I finally get everything put away, I get relocated.

It's my off Friday. I do have some work to catch up on, but only about an hour or so and I can work from home. So just relaxing right now.

I'd like to boycott the whole thing because of the politics they are bringing into it, but the boys are excited.

I have to say I was thinking that if politics was being brought into the fray it must have to do with the Brady/Belicheck friendship with Trump.  Yet another reason for the liberals in this country to hate pretty boy.

That could be part of it, too. Bud is claiming the commercial is not related and it is not their intent, yet they are airing it anyway. Actions speak louder than words, IMO. They could pull it, but they won't. I haven't seen it, but I think it's about immigration.

 I think it's due to my employer and the discount the insurance company gives to us.  I have insured my home through this insurer longer than I have worked for my employer.  Plus I haven't had any claims so maybe that is part of it.  Whatever the cause I will take it!

 The Irish and the Italians were treated very poorly during the time period portrayed, but I never heard of German's being treated this way. JMHO

I'm torn.

Irish, Italians, Polish, German, Chinese. There was a time when fresh off the boat immigrants were treated like crap. Some groups had it worse than others but most all were treated that way.
