I like that idea on the 100 posts, but keep it subjective. You do not want to let someone in that posts a 100 times, KWIM?

I think it's a great idea.  Very reasonable.  If someone takes exception, I would question their real motives.

I think it's good. Maybe a rule that they can't just post a bunch of malarkey to get to 100.

I agree with 100 being a fair number. I would also suggest that part of the criteria be no nonsense posting to get to 100. I've heard that Admins have the ability to adjust post counts. If that's true, maybe include some rule that nonsense posts by newbies will be deleted and post counts will be reduced by twice as many as are deleted?

We have the "increase your post count" thread for a reason.

I also think the mods can use their judgement.

I mean, we all can tell when someone is here cause they want to be involved and when they are just here to troll.

 No, we do not have the ability to do that.  I can delete posts - but I think I have only done that when they are double, or stuff like that.

hahahaha! Well then I guess the only exception would be that that thread doesnt count. ;) Not sure how you could police that, but I think having a GENERAL understanding that the thread doesnt count would suffice. No one is expecting you to count every last comment.
