 But they will.  Have you forgotten the lessons on Tariffs in Economics 101?  If Juan, the farmer in Mexico wants to continue selling Avocados in the US at , let's say the going rate is $1 per Avocado, Juan will not be able to sell them for his current price $1 plus the .23 Tariff. And because Mexico is not our only source of avocados, Juan will not be able to sell to us unless he reduces his prices below the $1 to cover the Tariff.  Now if Juan has to lower his prices, the taxes he pays on revenue to the Mexican Gov't will be less because his revenue is less, further, Juan will have lower the wages on his employees so the Mexican Gov't will receive less in income taxes from the employees.  Thus the Mexican loses and the American consumer still pays $1 per avocado.  What do you not get about that?

 First and foremost, it is way beyond the realm of common decency to take out your frustrations with him on his children.  He has every right to fire back.  

They should pay for the damn wall, I'm tired of them sending their criminals and unwanted here. 

The judges are WRONG.  Trump has the law on his side.  And that circuit of judges?  They get reversed on appeal over 80% of the time.  

 

Every executive order Trump has signed has been within the realm of the powers granted to him by the Constitution, or by the laws already passed in this country.  The same cannot be said for Obama's - he was trying to make new laws, not simply enforce them.  As an example - the Wall law was passed back during Bush's administration with the support of both Obama AND Hillary Clinton.

 

President Barack Obama took office in 2009 with an 84% approval rating.

He also won the first Nobel Prize in history for "what he might do". His approval rating was more a measure of hope than anything.
