I used to give up something for Lent. Now, I try to add something for Lent.
I try to add being extra nice to others. I try to add extra giving. But I do it anonymously. I will leave an extra tip. I will pay for someone else's meal. I will pay it forward somewhere, somehow. I have sent gift cards to people in need.
