I'm going to kill my husband. Today, I'm supposed to do the taxes. His job this morning was to get together the paperwork I need from the tax drawer. He is now gone to the father-daughter dance and I can't do anything because I'm missing both his 1099 and half the records for the quarterly payments.

I am stuck in the house due to the outdoor temps, they are brutal. Doing laundry, I always clean the lint filter inbetween loads, but the filter wasn't sitting tight, discovered the "pocket" the filter goes into was filled with lint. I have just done a total clean / vac job on the dryer. I feel so boring, but I can't go outside for more than 5 minutes, frost bite warnings. I am sooooo bored. what else can I clean today? I have vacuumed , changed all the sheet out. sigh...

Stay warm and dry you all! It was supposed to snow here today and middle of the week but thankfully it is no longer in the forecast. Got my hair done, cleaned out my pantry,fridge and freezer. Dh is cleaning out his side of the closet. That man has more clothes then me.

I've made 4 dishes for the brunch after church
services tomorrow - one of the other local churches
is going to visit us (they're having a hard time financially)
so we visited them two weeks ago. Made sticky lemon
chicken thighs, broccoli salad (work-in-progress recipe
from Cooks Illustrated), bread pudding, and a new
recipe - pomegranate squares. I'll let you know how
that turns out.

Proud mommy moment. DS is daytime potty trained! He's gone almost a week now with no accidents. He still wears Pull Ups when we go out but he's in underwear at home.
