This old lady is in recovery mode. Four days of little man has me bushed!
We enjoyed a great family get together yesterday at the mid way point of DS's home. DD and her family joined us as well. Oh, the fun we all enjoyed and all the great food!
Little man was so happy to have his daddy back!
Ended the day by shopping for more fishing gear. DH can not resist looking and then buying. ;)
The tulips are up! Heard the frogs singing Friday night.
The temps were in the 80's yesterday. Today we will be lucky to hit 55. Rain tonight, snow and ice by the weekend. Yeah, winter it's time to leave please.
I am so over winter.

Things started budding and blooming about 2-3 weeks ago, enough to set off allergies.
Then the freeze took over, stopped it all.
Now, it's starting again.

I know I shouldn't be shopping, but just received a deep discount through Wayfair on wool rugs for my spare room. I have loved all those I have bought for DD's room and my living room, and inexpensive, free shipping, great quality. This finishes off the rugs I need.

Took a heck of a tumble last week, landed very badly on some big rocks. I mean BIG ugly shaped rocks.
Deep bruising, really deep bruising to my right side. I was very lucky I didn't break a rib or two. Feels like I did though. DH made me go in to make sure there wasn't more damage. Had x-rays this morning and this afternoon. Yeah, the first set wasn't enough.
I have lots of healed fractures though.

Is anyone else watching April the giraffe? I have been watching off and on for the past 2 weeks. Whenever I remember or get bored I check it out. Still no baby.
For those who aren't watching, she is a very pregnant giraffe who has a live stream channel on YouTube. When she gives birth we will be able to watch on real time. Some people are obsessed with her. I am not obsessed. Just curious about the mechanics of birthing a 6ft 150 lb baby hooves first. Ouchie.

Got my inhaler prescription refilled for the first time in two years (it expired in 2015) and am waiting for this chest-tightness to get worse so that the effect of the inhaler is so. much. more. relieving. Although, I don't want the discomfort of the chest tightness to continue. It's mold/mildew season which gets my lungs messed up and then moving on top, so lots of dust and stuff. Bad mix.
On the upside, only a few more things to pack. Collecting lots of little boxes that should go into bigger boxes for the sake of moving.
Now i have to clean the oven and the microwave. Ick. But I need that deposit back.
